ATOMIC RAT STUDIOS
COMIC BOOK ARTIST/GRAPHIC ARTIST
Also known as Rando 20XX in the Nerdcore music community, R.C. Rey is a Sequential Artist, Graphic Designer, Mixed Martial Artist, Typographer, Bouncer and Entrepreneur from Dade County, Florida. His career in comics began as a humble errand-boy for CrossGen comics in 2002-03. As a professional artist, he began as an independent contractor with the Universal Creative Department, from 2007 to 2009. Since then, he has gone freelance to focus on more long-term projects such as his promotional art label "Atomic Rat Studios," alongside fellow creator, Kat Bowles. Rey's comic book storytelling has ranged from comedic superhero spoofs printed in "Across the Infinite Doorway" to social commentary on domestic violence in "Positronic Passion," published in the anthology comic book series "A Comic Book." His album art for "Awesome Force" and "Eye-Q," his promotional work for "Ongaku Overdrive" and the "Geek Easy," and his charity work for the Orlando Pulse shooting victims have made him a known versatile and progressive artist. Currently Rey is also the Creative Director for West Coast Comics, in collaboration with writer/producer/actor Christopher Khayman Lee.
